Petite Anse Grenada

Our stay at the Petite Anse Hotel in the parish of St. Patrick was fantastic. We headed off around mid-day and followed the Western Main Road right up to the tip of the island. With a few picture stops along the way the whole journey took us about 2 1/2 hrs.

The rooms at Petite Anse are all named after the spices grown on the island. We were in Cinnamon that night. Our room had a sofisticated english style with beautiful antique furniture. All rooms have an ocean view and we could see a few of the Grenadine Islands from our shower and bedroom.

Unfortunately I contracted the Chikungunya Virus and had a terrible fever and joint pains. I was hardly able to walk. That forced us to cut our trip short an drive back down to St. George's after just one night.  But we will be back, since there is so much to see and explore in the area.
